WACSG Thanks Pizza Hut

It was good to see so many of you at the Waverly Pizza Hut Monday, May 4th. Pizza Hut donated 20% of their profits on orders made from 5-8 pm that night. In the end $80.46 was raised and will be used for various support and awareness project in the local area. Thanks to Pizza Hut and to all who participated in this event

It's that time again! The occasion gives us an opportunity to share our love with those around us. Gather up your family and bring one of your favorite hot dishes, salad or vegetable for a noon potluck buffet. We also need Valentine desserts to top our meal. You might try some recipes from our cookbook. There are lots of really good recipes!!!! Beverages will be provided.

  • Go to www.Hy-vee.com
  • click on "Healthy Living"
  • click on "Recipes"
  • search by recipe name, ingredient or category (e.g. gluten free)

To plan weekly menus (not gluten free)

  • Go to www.Hy-Vee.com
  • click on "Healthy Living"
  • click on "Recipes"
  • Click on Recipe database in lower left
  • At the bottom of the page, click "Plan meals on Line"
  • Set up your own Hy-Vee account
  • Then visit the "Weekly Menu" section: https://www.hy-vee.com/weeklymenu/weeklymenu.asp and select "Add this menu to my shopping list"

A Fine 2009!

The Waverly Area Celiac Support Group has a fine 2009 planned for you! We've got monthly meetings in February and April, a picnic in July and some other very special events. We will be repeating last year's successful Pizza Hut fundraiser on May 4, so plan to come hungry!
